First Aid and Basic Life Support
An interactive training session on First Aid and Basic Life Support was organized by the Department of Physics for the Science PG students and Laboratory Staff. It was conducted by Ms. Bindu Rathore, Corporate Social Responsibility and Ms. Dimplepreet Kaur, Clinical Instructor, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur.

Fundamentals of Fine arts
Department of Drawing & Painting organised an extension lecture delivered by Dr. I U. Khan, Head Department of Drawing & Painting, University of Rajasthan, on the topic " Fundamentals of Fine arts " on 29th October 2018.
A PPT presentation on laboratory experiments was organised by Dept. of Physics from Sept. 26 th to 28 th Sept, 2018 for M.Sc. (Physics) students providing a platform to enhance their communication skill and increase their knowledge about the topic.
Workshop on Professional Grooming
The 15 days workshop organised by Career and Placement Cell has successfully completed on 8 th October, 2018. The efficient team of Counsellors guided the students about "Professional Grooming". The workshop was well received and appreciated by all the students.
Student's visit to National Archives
Department of History organised a student's visit to National Archives Branch at Jaipur on 7th September, 2018. Students witnessed the primary sources of British Period available at Archives in various forms.
One day Training Program (workshop) was organised by Archaeological and Museum Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur at Jantar Mantar to discuss the concept and basics of calculation of Tme, Latitude and Longitude. They also conducted hands on practical demonstration of the equipments so that participants would know its function.
Dr Neelam Bageshwari and students of semester III were also a part of this workshop and received Certificates at the end of the Training.
Ozone Day Celebration
The Department of Geography conducted one day seminar to celebrate "Ozone Day". Students of BA / B.Sc. part I/II/III and M.A/M.sc. Semester I and III presented and participated in Quiz, Extempore and Skit. The students also received certificates and saplings.
A Tribute to late Hon. Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Doordarshan Rajasthan conducted a talk show, (Yuv Tarang) special program on honourable late Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee - A Tribute to the legend of Indian Politics. The talk show was a discussion on the contribution of the great hero in the development of India, his Policies, Vision, Youth and Women, Economic Growth. Students ask questions to which experts gave answers to them and also recited poems written by Him.
The show proved to be a great learning and interactive experience for the students and also provided them a platform to voice their thoughts.
The program was telecast on 22nd August 2018.
Talk show- Mayne Azadi ke
Talk show on the eve of Independence Day was conducted in our college by Patrika TV on 8th August, 2018. The objective of the show was to make youth speak their mind and express what they want to convey to the society in reference to Independence day. It provided young minds a platform to introspect and communicate to the youth the real meaning of Independence. The students' participation was very enthusiastic, and well received they had a strong opinion about present day Youth, Country's Economy, Political Scenario and how Youth can and should contribute towards Country's Growth and Development.
Principal Dr. Seema Agarwal conveyed to the students and youth of the country the importance of Independence and its meaning. Dr. Neelam Bageshwari also shared her opinion and views.
Birla Planetarium Visit
Department of Geography organised visit to Birla Planetarium for the students of BA part I and MA / M.Sc semester I on 11th August 2018, to create insight into the minds of our young and fresh students about our Space and Planet Earth. The show was- Bharat ki Shan Mangalyan which provided very useful information on various Researches been conducted so far in the field of Minerals, Form of life and Traces of water etc. The show also threw light on pollution in the Space.
The show was a great learning experience for the students.
Passion for Fashion
Fashion Design Department organized an interactive session with students on 26/09/2018. Professionals from the field of Fashion Designing and Styling: Ms. Shruti Mishra and Ms. Aparna Joshi educated students about various career opportunities in the field of fashion in an interesting manner. Students appreciated the session and looked forward for more such activities.
Celebration of Poshan Maah
Home Science Department celebrated Poshan Maah on 26/09/2018 in collaboration with Indian Dietetic Association; Jaipur Chapter Students attended an interactive session on 'Nutrition for Health and Beauty'. There was a nutrition display for balanced diet for adolescents and a contest for Iron-rich Recipes.
Entrepreneurship Club organized an Industrial Visit to Rajasthan Small Scale Cottage Industries on 20/09/2018.

A one day workshop on "Role of Instrumentation in physics"
was organised on 9 th August 2018 by the Physics Department
with the aim to enlighten the students about the Importance of
Instruments. The speakers were Prof. Y.K. Vijay and Prof. Y.C.
Sharma from UGU Jaipur.
