Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics

Role of nutrition has been realized to strengthen immunity during the recent COVID-19 pandemic. On the other side there is an alarming rise in lifestyle disorders such as obesity, diabetes, arthritis, cardiovascular diseases, cancer to name a few, in the past two decades. Hence, awareness regarding nutrition has become a necessity for all. Nutrition knowledge is helpful in prevention of diseases, maintenance of good health and managing various diseases to improve quality of life among patients. The course has been designed to develop an understanding of human anatomy, basic nutrition principles and how to apply them in daily life.

Career Opportunities: Students interested in gaining knowledge of nutrition with their main degree course, or women working in the field of yoga, naturopathy, physiotherapy will be benefitted.
