Interactive Session on “Inside the Recruiter’s Room – What Do Recruiters Actually Look for Beyond Marks and CVs?”

रिक्रूटर की नज़र से—अंक एवं सीवी से परे रिक्रूटर्स वास्तव में क्या देखते हैं?” विषयक इंटरैक्टिव सत्र आयोजित कानोड़िया पी.जी. महिला महाविद्यालय, जयपुर के सेंटर फॉर करियर गाइडेंस, ट्रेनिंग एंड प्लेसमेंट द्वारा जयपुरिया इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट, जयपुर के सहयोग से दिनांक 6 अक्टूबर 2026 को “Inside the Recruiter’s Room – What Do Recruiters Actually Look for Beyond Marks and CVs?” विषय पर एक इंटरैक्टिव सत्र आयोजित किया गया। सत्र का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को वर्तमान रोजगार परिदृश्य एवं भर्ती प्रक्रिया की वास्तविक आवश्यकताओं से अवगत कराना था। सत्र के दौरान  जयपुरिया इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमैंट की असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर डॉ. हिमांशी पांडे ने छात्राओं को बताया गया कि रोजगार के लिए केवल अच्छे अंक एवं प्रभावी सीवी ही पर्याप्त नहीं हैं, बल्कि संवाद कौशल, आत्मविश्वास, सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण, समस्या-समाधान क्षमता, टीम भावना, अनुकूलनशीलता एवं समग्र व्यक्तित्व जैसे कौशल भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। इस अवसर पर जयपुरिया इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट की ही प्रोफेसर डॉ. स्वाति सोनी ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए अपने प्रेरणादायी एवं ज्ञानवर्धक विचार साझा किए। उनके प्रेरक शब्दों ने विद्यार्थियों में आत्मविश्वास एवं सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण का संचार किया। इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय की उप-प्राचार्य डॉ. रंजना अग्रवाल ने भी छात्राओं को प्रोत्साहित किया। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को निरंतर सीखने, अपने कौशल को विकसित करने तथा बदलती रोजगार आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप स्वयं को तैयार करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। सत्र के पश्चात Jaipuria Quiz League (JQL) 2026 के अंतर्गत विषय से संबंधित एक रोचक एवं ज्ञानवर्धक क्विज का आयोजन किया गया। क्विज में विद्यार्थियों ने अत्यंत उत्साह एवं सक्रिय सहभागिता के साथ भाग लिया। क्विज के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों के विषयगत ज्ञान, त्वरित सोच एवं प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक क्षमता को परखा गया। क्विज में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले प्रथम तीन विजेताओं के नाम की अभी घोषणा होनी बाकी है। कार्यक्रम में कुल 54 छात्राओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक  भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में सेंटर की संयोजिका डॉ. आकांक्षा गंडा ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया।

Interactive Session on “Inside the Recruiter’s Room – What Do Recruiters Actually Look for Beyond Marks and CVs?”

 

Kanoria P.G. Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur, through its Centre for Career Guidance, Training and Placement, in collaboration with Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, organised an interactive session on “Inside the Recruiter’s Room – What Do Recruiters Actually Look for Beyond Marks and CVs?” on 6 October 2026.

The session aimed to familiarise students with the realities of the contemporary employment landscape and the key requirements of the recruitment process. During the session, Dr Himanshi Pandey, Assistant Professor, Jaipuria Institute of Management, highlighted that good academic scores and an impressive CV alone are not sufficient for securing employment. She emphasised the importance of communication skills, confidence, a positive attitude, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, adaptability, and overall personality in the recruitment process.

On the occasion, Dr Swati Soni, Professor, Jaipuria Institute of Management, also addressed the students and shared her inspiring and insightful thoughts. Her motivating words encouraged the students and helped instil confidence and a positive outlook towards their career development. Dr Ranjana Agrawal, Vice-Principal academics of the college, encouraged the students. She motivated them to engage in continuous learning, develop their skills, and prepare themselves in accordance with the evolving requirements of the employment sector. Following the session, an engaging and informative quiz related to the theme was organised under the Jaipuria Quiz League (JQL) 2026. The students participated enthusiastically and actively in the quiz, which provided an opportunity to assess their subject knowledge, quick thinking, and competitive skills.The names of the top three winners of the quiz are yet to be announced. A total of 54 students participated enthusiastically in the programme. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Akanksha Ganda, Convenor , Centre for Career Guidance, Training and Placement.
