International Forests day was celebrated on 21March 2023 at Department Of Geography,Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya , Jaipur in Collaboration with Shree Kalptaru Sansthan under the 6 months certificate course on ,’Global Environmental Sustainability and Community Participation. The session included introducing the theme and objective of the day by Dr. Neelam Bageshwari Head of the Department and Course Coordinator followed by a talk : Shri Vishnu Lamba ( Treeman of India) -President Shree kalptaru Sansthan on Role of Forests in Environmental sustainability and Human Health .Students of under graduate and Post Graduate program participated in drawing and writing ( poems, article, slogan) and won cash prizes (500/-) and memento specially crafted from stubble( parali).
