Objectives

The Humanities Association has been an integral part of Kanoria. As an organization, it helps the students of humanities to develop and hone their emotional skill set and continue to sensitize the students towards the issues of the society at large.

  • 12 Oct, 2022 – Screening of short film ‘The Relationship Manager’ by Falguni Thakore followed by discussion.
  • Seminar and Quiz Competition organised under Vivekananda Sandesh Yatra in collaboration with the Cultural Ministry of India

  • 31 Jan, 2022-Screening of award Winning short film “ The Professor” and discussion.
  • Quiz on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

  • 16 Feb, 2020- Screening of short film “That Day After Every Day”
  • Survey on Reading and Growth during the Pandemic

2018 – 2019

  • गांधीजी की 150 वी जयंती के उपलक्ष में संवाद यात्रा : साबरमती से कश्मीर के अंतर्गत दिल्ली , ओडिशा , महाराष्ट्र , गुजरात , उत्तर प्रदेश आदि विभिन्न राज्यों से 17 महिलाओं के समूह ने छात्राओं से संवाद किया | ( 21-31 oct, 2018)
  • 5 Dec,2018- Screening of the movie “Hitchki” followed by discussion with the students.

2017- 2018

  • 30 Aug, 2017- Screening of the movie “Mom”.
  • Oct, 2017- चिकित्सा का वर्तमान परिदृश्य – भ्रम और निवारण व्याख्यान हुआ |

  • 10 sep, 2016- screening of the movie “Peepli Live” under the title “How to read a film as text” followed by the discussion by Dr. Shivam, Department of Sociology, University of Rajasthan.
