इंस्टीट्यूशन इनोवेशन काउंसिल (आईआईसी) के तहत “लघु व्यवसायों और स्टार्टअप्स के लिए साइबर सुरक्षा सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं” पर सत्र का आयोजन
कानोड़िया पी.जी. महिला महाविद्यालय, जयपुर की इंस्टीट्यूशन इनोवेशन काउंसिल (आईआईसी) ने “छोटे व्यवसायों और स्टार्टअप्स के लिए साइबर सुरक्षा के सर्वोत्तम अभ्यास” विषय पर एक आकर्षक सत्र का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया। इस सत्र की विशेषज्ञ डॉ. आकांक्षा गंडा, इनोवेशन एम्बेसडर, आईआईसी ने नवोदित उद्यमियों और छात्रों के बीच साइबर सुरक्षा जागरूकता की बढ़ती आवश्यकता पर बात की। उन्होंने डिजिटल इकोसिस्टम में स्टार्टअप्स के सामने आने वाले प्रमुख जोखिम कारकों पर प्रकाश डाला, जिनमें फ़िशिंग हमले, ईमेल स्पूफिंग, रैंसमवेयर खतरे और कई अन्य उभरते साइबर जोखिम शामिल थे। उन्होंने साइबर हाईजीन के महत्व पर ज़ोर दिया और उन आवश्यक निवारक उपायों के बारे में बताया जिन्हें स्टार्टअप्स को अपनी डिजिटल संपत्तियों और संचालन की सुरक्षा के लिए अपनाना चाहिए। सत्र को और अधिक संवादात्मक और प्रभावशाली बनाने के लिए, वास्तविक जीवन के साइबर हमलों पर चर्चा की गई और “नैन्सी द हैकर“ नामक 5 मिनट की एक छोटी फिल्म भी दिखाई गई। इसके अतिरिक्त, प्रतिभागियों की समझ का आंकलन करने और उन्हें सक्रिय रूप से संलग्न रखने के लिए लाइव क्विज़ का भी आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में प्राचार्य डॉ. सीमा अग्रवाल ने छात्राओं को ऐसे विषयों से सम्बन्धित कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेकर उन्हें जागरूक यूजर बनने हेतु प्रोत्साहित किया, साथ ही इस डिजिटल दुनिया में बढ़ते खतरों से सुरक्षित रहने की सलाह दी। कुल 40 छात्राओं ने इस सत्र में भाग लिया और विशेषज्ञ, डॉ. आकांक्षा द्वारा साझा की गई जानकारियों और व्यावहारिक अंतर्दृष्टि की सराहना की। इस कार्यक्रम ने युवा नव-प्रवर्तकों के बीच साइबर सुरक्षा जागरूकता और तैयारी को बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया।
Session on “Cybersecurity Best Practices for Small Businesses and Startups” under Institution Innovation Council (IIC)
The Institution Innovation Council (IIC), Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur successfully conducted an engaging session on “Cybersecurity Best Practices for Small businesses and Startups.” The resource person for the session, Dr. Akanksha Ganda, Innovation Ambassador, IIC, addressed the growing need for cybersecurity awareness among budding entrepreneurs and students. Dr. Ganda highlighted the major risk factors that startups face in the digital ecosystem, including phishing attacks, email spoofing, ransomware threats, and several other emerging cyber risks. She emphasized the importance of cyber hygiene, explaining essential preventive practices that startups must adopt to safeguard their digital assets and operations. To make the session more interactive and impactful, real life cyber-attacks were discussed and a short 5 minutes’ movie named “Nancy The Hacker” was also shown. Additionally, live quizzes were conducted for better understanding and evaluation. Principal Dr. Seema Agarwal motivated the students to participate in such programs and also advised them to stay safe from the increasing risks in this digital world. A total of 40 students attended the session and appreciated the informative and practical insights shared by the expert. The event contributed significantly to enhancing cybersecurity awareness and preparedness among young innovators.
