The IQAC of Kanoria College organised a Panel Discussion on The Preparedness of Higher Educational Institutions for National Education Policy on 18th Oct’2022.
The panel consisted of eminent personalities like Prof T. N Mathur, VC, IIS University, Prof Mukta Agarwal, Principal Maharani’s College, Dr. Prabhat Pankaj, Director JIMS, Dr. Pradyuman Singh Rathore, Principal Agarwal PG College, Dr. Payal Chaturvedi, IQAC Coordinator, IIS University and Dr. Seema Agarwal, Principal Kanoria College.
Dr Seema Agarwal, Principal Kanoria College, initiated the discussion talking about the preparation related to implementation of New Education Policy. Each panellist expressed their views on different segments of NEP. The panel observed that new education policy or National Education Policy thrust on holistic development and sustainability, it also focuses on Multidisciplinary and experimental learning. The vibrant panel touched various aspects of New Education Policy like Internationalization of education and alignment of cognitive and non cognitive skills, transforming the regulatory system of higher education, nurturing research culture, skill development and employability .Prof T.N Mathur concluded the session empasisizing on recognizing the unique capacity of students and merging multidisciplinary education with India values.
