An extension lecture on “Introduction to linear Accelerator and Career & Prospectus in BARC” was held by the Department of Physics on 7 November 2022. Mr. Sumit Garg, who is currently working as Scientific officer (E), BARC was the eminent speaker for the lecture. The program was initiated by Dr. Harsha Sharma by delivering brief introduction about eminent speaker. After that floral welcome was done by Dr. Usha Bhatia, Head of the department. Total 127 students of B.Sc, M.Sc (physics), M.Sc (Chemistry), M.Sc (Maths) attended the lecture. Mr. Sumit Garg, gave information about linear accelerator and realisation of Force, Energy, and Atom. He beautifully connected educational part to spirituality. He also provides the knowledge about the career opportunities for B.Sc and M.Sc students in BARC.
