Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya in Association with Karo Sambhav organised a collective Drive on E waste management on Wednesday. The E-waste Drive was Conducted by the student Union under the guidance of Principal Dr. Seema Agarwal. The students took the opportunity and actively participated in the Drive by bringing E-waste from their home. The collective E-waste included no longer used wires, dead chargers, broken phones, faulty adapters, etc. weighing 28kg was handed over to the NGO. Students were given certificates and encouraged for further participation. An E-waste awareness session was also conducted in the college, Mr. Arunesh from Karo Sambhav addressed the students and emphasised on the negative effect on the nature caused by the unscientific and reckless handling of electronic devices. He put forward ways through which such catastrophic ruin of nature can be avoided and asked students to recycle their E- waste instead of throwing them away without a single thought. The students asked their query regarding E-waste and pledged to recycle them properly.
