Declaration of Focus on the Climate Emergency
On 8th October, 2025 Mother Earth Project in association with Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur organized a talk program entitled, “Declaration of Focus on the Climate Emergency”, at MEP Sculpture, Jawahar Circle. The Mother Earth Project Catalyzes Global Climate Action Through Art. As the climate crisis escalates, the world stands at a critical crossroads. To share, discuss and create awareness about Climate change and our roles and responsibilities in the fight against climate change. On the occasion present Ms. Laxmi Saxena, National Director (MEP), Ms. Sudeep Kaur Sharma (IFS), and Dr. Seema Agrawal, Principal, Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur, Dr. Neelam Bageshwari, Head Department of Geography, Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur, NCC Officers Shri Narendra, Sandeep Kumar, Seema Sharma, Suman Choudhary and Simpal Pareek along with 200 cadets (Army, Air force and Navy). The program emphasized the importance of Sustainable development and acknowledged the severity of climate change and commitment to take urgent systematic action. Parachutes painted by the students of Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur were also displayed and cadets participated in the rally for spreading awareness. At present we must choose whether our generation will be remembered for ruining the planet or the one that saved it. Through participatory art and community engagement, MEP is building a worldwide network committed to sustainability, awareness, and policy change.
दिनांक 08 अक्टूबर 2025 को मदर अर्थ प्रोजेक्ट और कानोडिया पी.जी. महिला महाविद्यालय के संयुक्त तत्वाविधान में डिक्लेरेशन ऑफ़ फोकस ऑन दी क्लाइमेट इमरजेंसी पर जवाहर सर्किल पर मदर अर्थ के स्टेचू स्थल पर कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर लक्ष्मी सक्सेना, राष्ट्रीय निदेशक, मदर अर्थ प्रोजेक्ट, मुख्य अतिथि सुदीप कौर शर्मा (आई. एफ. एस.), जयपुर, विशिष्ट अतिथि डॉ. सीमा अग्रवाल, प्राचार्य, कानोडिया पी. जी. महिला महाविद्यालय, जयपुर, डॉ. नीलम बागेश्वरी (विभाग अध्यक्ष, भूगोल) कानोडिया पी. जी. महिला महाविद्यालय, जयपुर, नेशनल केडिट कोर्प के आर्मी, एयर फ़ोर्स और नेवी के छात्र-छात्रायें (200), कमांडिंग ऑफिसर नरेंद्र, संदीप कुमार, सीमा शर्मा, सुमन चौधरी और सिंपल पारीक के साथ साथ अन्य लोग भी शामिल हुए। विश्व में हो रहे जलवायु परिवर्तन पर चर्चा और विचार साझा किये गए। कार्यक्रम का आरम्भ अथितियों का स्वागत-सम्मान (शॉल ओढ़ाकर स्मृति चिह्न भेंट कर) एवं स्वागत उद्बोधन के साथ हुआ। लक्ष्मी सक्सेना जी ने अपने स्वागत अभिभाषण में वर्तमान समय में हो रहे जलवायु परिवर्तन पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए युवाओं को सन्देश दिया और विकास और प्रकृति में संतुलन स्थापित करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। सुदीप कौर जी ने वनों और जीवों की परस्पर सम्बद्धता एवं महत्ता पर प्रकाश डालते हुए सामाजिक उत्तर दायित्व निर्वहन की अपील की। प्राचार्य डॉ. सीमा अग्रवाल जी ने शिक्षा के जरिये सामाजिक एवं नैतिक मूल्यों की निर्वहन की बात करते हुए प्रकृति को सहेजने का विचार साझा किया। वर्तमान समय में हो रहे जलवायु परिवर्तन और बढ़ते प्राकृतिक आपदाओं का कारण मानवीय क्रिया कलाप हैं तथा जीवन शैली को परिवर्तित कर हम प्रकृति के विनाश को रोक सकते है। इस कार्यक्रम के आयोजन में डॉ. नीलम बागेश्वरी की सक्रिय भूमिका रही।
