We were delighted to conduct an awareness session on E-waste Management and a collection drive with Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya in collaboration with the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board in Jaipur on September 22nd. The session started with a welcome address by the Principal, Dr. Seema Agrawal, who emphasized the need to manage e-waste, which is responsible for adding to environmental pollution and degradation. During the programme, our Specialist, Prashant Sharma, delivered a session where he interacted with the audience to raise awareness about the importance of segregation and the scientific disposal of e-waste.
The event was also graced by Mr. Abhishek Sharma, Senior Scientific Officer at the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, who elaborated on the roles and responsibilities of individual consumers and motivated the attendees to responsibly recycle their e-waste. It was followed by a collection drive that saw active participation from the students, faculty, and college authorities alike.
