Department of Home Science organised a three day Workshop cum Seminar ‘Daksh’-Science of Modern Homes from 9th-11th February 2023.
To facilitate active learning skills in baking ‘Bakery Workshop’ was conducted by Head Chef Gaurav Sharma,Institute of Hotel Management & Culinary studies.
Interesting, Interactive & Insightful sessions on Programme Planning for Development by Shailja Minocha Head,Dept of Home Science,Shri Bhawani Niketan College,
Creative Learning aids for Child Development by Dr. Namita Soni, Director Maple tree International Pre school, Jaipur.
Ergonomics in daily life by Mrs. Nehal Badar, Architect were conducted. Demonstrations by B.Sc.Home Science Part II students were given on Tie & Dye & Block Printing.
To spread the awareness on healthy eating habits Nukkad Natak was also showcased by them.
Around 60 students of B.Sc & BA Home Science attended this event.
In the valedictory session Principal Madam Dr. Seema Agarwal motivated the students & appreciated the programme.
