Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur unveiled Jaipur’s first incubation centre ‘NARIKA’ inaugurated by Smt. Shakuntala Rawat, Honourable Cabinet Minister Industry, State Enterprises and Devasthan Vibhag, Government of Rajasthan on 6th April 2022 with an aim to provide opportunity to women entrepreneurs to develop their enterprise. The centre provides facilities like business, technical facilities, mentoring, networking, and early development funds to support young entrepreneurs. The incubation centres play a vital role in creation of entrepreneurs because, here is where they develop ideas and can avail sources of funds, human power and other market potential. Incubation provide facilities to nurture young entrepreneurs during their early period of growth. Further, this collaborative program design helps new startups to succeed.Programme began with the welcome address of the Principal Dr. Seema Agrawal, she said that Entrepreneurship Club of the college groom student entrepreneurs and now with this centre the students will become self-sustained and with time develop into employers from employees. Director Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi said that our motive is to make the students capable because only when the students are capable, they become empowered. Honourable guest Smt. Shakuntala Rawat assured cooperation to the students and asked the students to try to bring the rural women forward while being able to bring the small-scale industry forward.
