कानोड़िया पीजी महिला महाविद्यालय, जयपुर और स्कूल फॉर डेमोक्रेसी के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में दिनांक 31 जनवरी, 2025 “द पर्सनल इज़ पॉलिटिकलः संघर्ष के 50 वर्ष” विषय पर एक विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि सुप्रसिद्ध सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता एवं लेखिका श्रीमती अरुणा रॉय रहीं। कार्यक्रम गणमान्य अतिथि डॉ. रेणुका पामेचा (सामाजिक महिला अधिकार कार्यकर्ता), सुश्री ममता जैतली (महिला अधिकार कार्यकर्ता) की उपस्थिति से सुशोभित रहा। श्रीमती अरुणा रॉय ने अपने विशेष संबोधनः “मेमोयर ऑफ एन एक्टिविस्ट” में अपने अनुभवों को साझा किया और छात्राओं को सामाजिक सक्रियता के महत्व से अवगत कराया। उन्होंने बताया कि कैसे उन्होंने सामाजिक न्याय और पारदर्शिता के लिए संघर्ष किया। उन्होंने कानोड़िया पीजी महिला महाविद्यालय की टीम आइडिएशन को सामाजिक परिवर्तन के लिए सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने एवं सामूहिक ऊर्जा से कार्यशाला मे भागीदारी के लिए बधाई दी। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ “महिलाओं की सामाजिक सक्रियता में भागीदारी” विषय पर एक प्रभावशाली नाटक से हुआ, जिसमें छात्राओं ने महिलाओं की सामाजिक एवं राजनीतिक सक्रियता की चुनौतियों और उपलब्धियों को प्रस्तुत किया। महाविद्यालय प्राचार्य डॉ. सीमा अग्रवाल ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत किया और महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं सामाजिक सक्रियता के महत्व पर अपने विचार साझा किए। उन्होंने छात्राओं को प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि समाज में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन लाने के लिए सक्रिय भागीदारी आवश्यक है। महाविद्यालय निदेशक डॉ. रश्मि चतुर्वेदी द्वारा “आइडिएशन” पहल के उद्देश्यों और उपलब्धियों का अवलोकन किया गया। उन्होंने अपने वक्तव्य में कहा शिक्षण संस्थाओं को समाज में निर्मित सत्ता के केंद्रों से प्रश्न करने के लिए छात्राओं को सशक्त करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभानी चाहिए। इस अवसर पर पर्सनल इज पॉलीटिकल कार्यशाला की झलक एवं और प्रतिभागियों द्वारा उनके अनुभवों पर चर्चा की गई। प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाण पत्र वितरित किए गए। इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय छात्रसंघ को सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में छात्राएँ एवं पीयूसीएल के स्वयंसेवी भी उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम समापन डॉ. मोहिता चतुर्वेदी शर्मा (संयोजक, टीम आइडिएशन) के धन्यवाद ज्ञापन से हुआ। मंच संचालन डॉ. प्रीति शर्मा द्वारा किया गया ।
Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur in collaboration with School for Democracy celebrated fifty years of activism on the theme ‘Personal is Political’ The occasion was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Ms. Aruna Roy, renowned author and social activist, Dr. Renuka Pamecha (social activist) and Ms. Mamta Jaitley (social activist), Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Director, Kanoria College and Dr. Seema Agrawal, Principal, Kanoria College. Students enacted glimpses of the lives of brave women who became agents of social change. The programme began with a welcome address by Dr Seema Agrwal, Principal. Student union office was inaugurated and felicitation of office bearers of the student union was done by the Chief Guest. Ms. Aruna Roy, shared her life experiences and journey as an activist and motivated students to fight for rights. She congratulated Kanoria College for playing its role as an agent of social change. Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Director, Kanoria College, shared with the audience the concept and journey of ‘Ideation’. She said that education institutions must play their roles in empowering students in creating fissures in monoliths of power so that they are able to bring desired social changes. Certificates were distributed to students for the successful completion of a 10-day workshop. Master of ceremonies for the event was Dr. Preeti Sharma. Programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr.Mohita Chaturvedi Sharma, Convener, Team Ideation.
