The Department of Physics celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on October 15,2024 with great enthusiasm. The event honored Dr. Kalam’s contributions to science and education, inspiring students and faculty alike to follow in his footsteps.
As part of the celebration, the department organized an inter-college quiz competition that saw the participation of six teams from various colleges. The quiz covered a wide range of physics topics, focusing on science, technology, and current affairs. It was an exciting and competitive event that showcased the knowledge and enthusiasm of the students.
In addition, an in-house poster-making competition was held, where students creatively expressed their ideas related to science and future innovations.The posters were a vibrant display of artistic talent and scientific understanding.
The event concluded with a small ceremony to honor the winners of the quiz and poster competitions, followed by a tribute to Dr. Kalam. The department looks forward to celebrating his legacy in future events, continuing to encourage young minds towards scientific pursuits.
