“अंतरमहाविद्यालय वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन”
डॉ. ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम की जयंती के अवसर पर, कानोड़िया पी.जी. महिला महाविद्यालय, जयपुर के भौतिकी विभाग द्वारा “क्या डेटा स्पीड में तीव्र वृद्धि एक वरदान है या अभिशाप?” विषय पर अंतरमहाविद्यालय वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ डॉ. सीमा अग्रवाल के प्रेरणादायक शब्दों से हुआ। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को विषय पर गहन रूप से विचार करने तथा आत्मविश्वास के साथ अपने विचार प्रस्तुत करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। जयपुर के विभिन्न महाविद्यालयों जैसे यूनिवर्सिटी महाराजा कॉलेज, महारानी कॉलेज, राजस्थान कॉलेज, एस.एस.जी. पारीक कॉलेज, परिष्कार कॉलेज से कुल 10 टीमों ने प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया। प्रतिभागियों ने विषय के पक्ष और विपक्ष में सारगर्भित तर्क प्रस्तुत किए। लगभग 60 विद्यार्थियों ने कार्यक्रम में उपस्थिति दर्ज की। प्रतियोगिता का मूल्यांकन डॉ. मनीषा गुप्ता, सह-प्राध्यापक, भौतिकी विभाग, राजस्थान विश्वविद्यालय तथा डॉ. जयंती गोयल, कंप्यूटर विभाग, के.एम.एम. जयपुर द्वारा किया गया। दोनों निर्णायकों ने प्रतिभागियों के प्रदर्शन पर सराहनीय टिप्पणियाँ दीं और उन्हें विषय की गहराई से अवगत कराया। प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान पक्ष में कानोडिया पी.जी. महिला महाविद्यालय की ऐश्वर्या ओझा रही और विपक्ष में एस.एस.जी. पारीक कॉलेज के स्पर्श माहेश्वरी प्रथम स्थान पर रहे। कार्यक्रम का समापन विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. सरला शर्मा द्वारा प्रस्तुत धन्यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ हुआ, जिसमें उन्होंने निर्णायकों, प्रतिभागियों और दर्शकों का आभार व्यक्त किया। यह प्रतियोगिता न केवल डॉ. ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम की जयंती का स्मरण थी, बल्कि विद्यार्थियों को आधुनिक डिजिटल युग में प्रौद्योगिकी के जिम्मेदार उपयोग पर विचार करने के लिए भी प्रेरित करती है। कार्यक्रम का संचालन विभाग की प्राध्यापिका डॉ. सुमिता शेखावत, डॉ. दीप्ति चौहान, डॉ. मनीषा कुमारी, डॉ. हर्षा शर्मा द्वारा किया गया।
“Inter-College Debate Competition”.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the Department of Physics, Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur organized an Inter-College Debate Competition on “Is the Rapid Rise in Data Speed a Blessing or a Threat?” on October 15, 2025. The event commenced with motivational words by Dr. Seema Agarwal, who inspired the participants to think critically about the dual impact of technological advancement and encouraged them to express their ideas with confidence and clarity. A total of 10 teams from various colleges of Jaipur like University Maharaja College, Maharani College, Rajasthan College, S.S.G. Pareek College, Parishkar College participated in the competition. Participants presented compelling arguments for and against the motion. Total 60 students attended the competition. The competition was judged by Dr. Manisha Gupta, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, University of Rajasthan, and Dr. Jayanti Goyal, Department of Computer Science, Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyala Jaipur. Their insightful evaluation and feedback enriched the participants’ understanding of the topic. Aishwarya Ojha of Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyala secured the first position in the favor of the motion and Sparsh Maheshwari of S.S.G. Pareek PG College secured the first position in against the motion. The Programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Head, Department of Physics, Dr. Sarla Sharma, where she expressed gratitude to the judges, participants and audience for making the event a success. The competition not only celebrated the vision of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam also encouraged students to reflect on the responsible use of technology in today’s digital age. The Programme was conducted by the faculty members, Dr. Sumita Shekhawat, Dr. Deepti Chauhan, Dr. Manisha Kumari and Dr. Harsha Sharma.
