"सोशियोलॉजी फेस्ट का दूसरा दिन" " Second Day of Sociology Fest. "
कानोड़िया पी.जी. महिला महाविद्यालय के समाजशास्त्र विभाग द्वारा तीन दिवसीय सोशियोलॉजी फेस्ट ‘‘वूमन एण्ड वाटर वूज’’ का आगाज किया गया। कार्यक्रम के दूसरे दिन (14 अक्टूबर) विभाग की छात्राओं द्वारा एक स्किट के माध्यम से महिलाओं की स्थिति को बताते हुए समानता का संदेश देकर, जागरूकता का प्रयास किया। संदेश दिया की पानी एक मात्र महिलाओं की ही जरूरत नहीं, अपितु परिवार के प्रत्येक सदस्य की जरूरत है। महाविद्यालय प्राचार्य डॉ. सीमा अग्रवाल ने कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित अतिथियों एवं श्रोतागणों का स्वागत किया साथ ही छात्राओं को पानी के सदुपयोग के लिए प्रेरित किया। डॉ. स्वीटी माथुर ने समाजशास्त्र विभाग की छात्राओं के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए विभाग के अनवरत प्रयासों की रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत की। आज के मुख्य वक्ता प्रकाश चन्द्र छंगानी ने अपने वक्तव्य में मुख्यतः ग्राउंड वाटर, इको सिस्टम व सरकारी नीतियों, एन.जी.ओ. साथ ही कम्युनिटी पार्टीसिपेशन, ग्राउंड वाटर यूज पर विशेष प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कालाडेरा, बहरोड़ व केरल के उदाहरण प्रस्तुत कर हर घर नल वाटर पॉलिसी एवं वाटर ऑडिट पर अपने विचार साझा किए। डॉ. प्रसून ने यूनिसेफ़ की विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए कम्यूनिटी पार्टिसिपेशन पर ज़ोर दिया व छात्राओं को पानी का महत्व बताया। सुश्री पूनम, यूनिसेफ सदस्य, ने हाइड्रो पोनिक्स को स्पष्ट किया। उन्होंने दातारामगढ़ में तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण की चर्चा करते हुए वन लीटर तकनीक, सिरोही (पीड़वाड़ा), रात्रि चोपाल, ईको फ़ैमिनिज़म, टाँका, एमपीटी आदि पर विस्तृत जानकारी प्रदान करते हुए छात्राआें को पानी की सुरक्षा के लिए प्रेरित किया। अंत में विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. मोहिता चतुर्वेदी शर्मा ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापित करते हुए छात्राओं को भविष्य में भी विभाग की गतिविधियों में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने हेतु प्रेरित किया। इस कार्यक्रम में 150 से अधिक छात्राओं ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम में उप प्राचार्य एवं विभाग की अन्य शिक्षिकाएं भी उपस्थित रहीं।
The Department of Sociology of Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, inaugurated a three-day sociology fest, “Women and Water Woes.” On the second day of the programme (October 14), the students of the department tried to spread awareness by presenting the message of equality by describing the status of women through a skit. The message given was that water is not only the need of women but of every member of the family. College Principal Dr. Seema Agarwal welcomed the guests and audience present in the program and also motivated the students to make good use of water. Dr. Sweety Mathur presented the outline of the department’s continuous efforts for the all-round development of the students of the Department of Sociology. Today’s keynote speaker, Prakash Chandra Chhangani, focused on groundwater, ecosystems, government policies, NGOs community participation, and groundwater use. He shared his views on Tap Water Policy in every house and water audit by giving examples of Kaladera, Behror and Kerala. Dr. Prasun provided detailed information about UNICEF, emphasizing community participation and explaining the importance of water to the students. Ms. Poonam, UNICEF member, explained hydroponics. While discussing the technical training in Dataramgarh, she provided detailed information on One Litre Technology, Sirohi (Pidwara), Ratri Chopal, Eco Feminism, Tanka, MPT etc. and inspired the students to conserve water. At the end, Head of the Department Dr. Mohita Chaturvedi Sharma expressed her gratitude and encouraged the students to play an active role in the activities of the department in future also. More than 150 students participated in the program. The Vice Principal and other teachers from the department were also present.
