Programme Offered:
B.A. Pass Course
Philosophy is connected to human lives and it makes human life simpler. Philosophy is important for the holistic development of a student's character. In the three years degree program we teach six papers to the students - 1. Indian Philosophy 2. Western Philosophy 3. Logic 4. Ethics 5. Philosophy of Religion 6. Socio - Political Philosophy . All the papers are related to Reality, Knowledge, Human conduct, Reasoning and knowledge to make philosophical analysis of religion.All papers help the students to be more focused towards their goal and aim. Philosophy enhances the ability of the students to make decisions and perceive the things as whole. Purpose to study of studying Philosophy is to improve students’ critical thinking, which in turn helps the students to understand life better and to lead a happier and fulfilling life.
Programme Specific Outcomes :
POS 1 This course is designed to expose the students to general philosophy, which explain the basic concept and problem of philosophy.
POS 2 This course provides the logical principles to make proper arguments their different scientific method in the course.
POS 3 This course was designed provide modern techniques which to prove arguments.
POS 4 This course introduces ethical principle and concepts which will develop moral thinking it also provides the relation of ethics with sociology, political science. The relation of ethics with Socio- politics and religion.
POS 5 This course developed ability to conduct independent research, including the use of primary and secondary sources to form original hypotheses
POS 6 Practical and Career Outcomes
Graduates are prepared for various professional paths where critical thinking is paramount including
- Legal and Judicial Services – using logical analysis for legal reasoning’
- Education and academic Research – foundation for teaching and advanced studies.
- Media and Journalism – Applying critical inquiry to social reporting.
- social Work and NGOS -Utilizing ethical frameworks for community welfare.
